Job Overview

The Membership and Customer Service Specialist oversees all Front Desk Operations of Georgetown Law’s Scott K. Ginsburg Sport & Fitness Center, including but not limited to staffing during all hours of operation; carrying out all transactions that come through the desk and software; administering the maintenance, programming; scheduling of the pool; and initiating all of the Center’s financial requisitions within Georgetown Management System/Workday.

Work Interactions

Reporting to the Director of Operations and Risk, the Membership and Customer Service Specialist has direct oversight of 6-10 student or temporary employees; and has significant interactions with students, faculty, and staff.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or departmentally related field
  • At least 3 years in physical education, health management, or another related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of current fitness standards and trends, fitness programming, intramurals, and aquatics

Preferred qualification

Group Exercise or other Fitness certification
